Innovation Board Member Kendra Scott Launches Institute
The University of Texas at Austin and Kendra Scott have established the Kendra Scott Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (WEL) Institute, which begins offering a variety of courses, workshops, a summit event and pitch competition in 2020. The objective of the Institute is to empower women to lead in whatever area of business or profession they pursue. The September 24 launch event at UT Austin’s Bass Concert Hall attracted over 1,000 students.
