Lunch with President Fenves
Registration is open for the Summer 2019 staff lunch.

Dear Staff Members,

As president of the university, I want to meet as many of you as I can. To that end, in partnership with the UT Staff Council, I will host lunch meetings to discuss topics of interest with small groups of staff members. I invite you to participate in a lottery to join me for one of these lunches.

The next lunch will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. The topic for discussion will be ethics in the workplace. It is incumbent on all employees of the university — at every level — to know and understand ethics, and to be responsible for cultivating a healthy work environment. If you have ideas about ways to create an ethical organizational culture that supports staff and faculty, I encourage you to submit an entry form by Wednesday, July 24.

I have met and worked with many of you since I became president and hope to speak with many more of you about the issues that affect you as UT employees. I plan to host staff lunches periodically throughout the year, so don’t worry if you aren’t selected this time around — there will be more opportunities in the future.
