President’s Student Advisory Committee
The President’s Student Advisory Committee consults with the president of The University of Texas at Austin on matters of importance and concern to students and serves as the principal conduit of communication between students and the president. PSAC is composed of 12 students, including the president and vice president of Student Government, the Senate of College Councils, and the Graduate Student Assembly, along with two additional students from each of these organizations. These six additional students are selected by the president of the university from nominations submitted by their respective organizations.
PSAC Subcommittees
The PSAC is structured around three subcommittees that work throughout the year on initiatives they identify and research. These subcommittees bring student feedback and opinions to PSAC meetings, and PSAC collaborates on finding solutions to these problems.
Academic Affairs Committee
The Academic Affairs Committee works to improve the academic environment for graduate and undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Austin. The Academic Affairs Committee works closely with the Senate of College Councils.
Budget Committee
The Budget Committee works with budget and finance issues at The University of Texas at Austin.
Student Affairs Committee
The Student Affairs Committee works to improve the quality of student life for graduate and undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Austin. The Student Affairs Committee works closely with Student Government.
