President’s Faculty Advisory Board

“Our faculty members are at the heart of our academic mission and play an indispensable role in our success as a world-class university. I look forward to the collaboration with the PFAB as an important input into making informed decisions in the best interest of our University.”
– James E. Davis, President
Purpose
As world-class teachers and researchers dedicated to the University and state, faculty play an indispensable role in the University’s success. The President’s Faculty Advisory Board (PFAB) is the faculty advisory body that regularly meets with the President to provide guidance and advice.
The PFAB consists of 14 esteemed faculty members from across the colleges and schools, charged with advising on institutional matters and focusing on the best interests of the entire University. The PFAB meets monthly with the President and invited members of the leadership cabinet, with additional meetings scheduled as necessary, as well as ongoing consultation on an informal basis. To provide continuity, PFAB members are invited to serve a two-year term that may be renewed.
