The President’s Student Advisory Committee advises the president of The University of Texas at Austin on matters of importance and concern to students and serves as the principal body of communication between students and the president. PSAC is composed of twelve students, including the president and vice president of Student Government, the Senate of College Councils, and the Graduate Student Assembly, along with two additional students from each of these organizations. These six additional students are selected by the president of the university from nominations submitted by their respective organizations.
The PSAC is structured around three subcommittees that work throughout the year on initiatives they identify and research. These subcommittees bring student feedback and opinions to PSAC meetings, and PSAC collaborates on finding solutions to these problems.
